So which part of this piece is constructed from the original images meant for use? You know what I mean. I'm sure so do the judges. And which of the original images is the central focus in this piece? Read the rules. Outside of the obvious it's a nice piece.

You seem to be complaining because the artist altering the image/s even though that's the entire point of the contest. After reading the rules, I can't see what rule he violated, or even how it's "obvious."

You (as if I didn't know)! Anyway, excellent job with this! I really like how you incorporated all of the intricate details in the frog without making them look "pasted on", and the eyes are my favorite part. If you had more time, I would say to go back and sharpen up the details for the buildings, espcially the one in the foreground, but that's just me being a nitpick (you can throw all the tomatoes at me you want for that, but I still voted for you)!
