Very impressive work. The low res image do not retranscrive the amazing level of details. Good luck !

Thanks for the comments. I sincerely recommend checking out the larger imagine. The small image you can see here doesn't do much justice to my work.

I also created a Facebook Group around the contest, feel free to join at:

By esubi81 on Saturday, 1 December 2007 1:24 AM
this idea is based solely on the city... what about the other pictures? yea they might be in there, but have no real meaning
By esubi81 on Saturday, 1 December 2007 1:53 AM
FYI: You copied Royality's entry "Mooving Ground." If you sort the entries by date, his is the page before yours, BURNED! haha

your description should say: inspired by an entry that was submitted yesterday or the day before... i thought the idea was brilliant but just not quite executed as well as it could have been.

very nice , got my vote ,

Does it really look like it was done in just a day after "the Moving ground"-picture was posted? :) And I wouldn't say it's poorly executed either, especially if compared to the work I'm supposed to have ripped the concept from. :)

The rules say that only one of the given photos needs to have a central role. You shouldn't complain because the stock photos don't pop out of the picture. I believe that the idea of this competition is to make a seamless entity from the given material . What's the point of doing crappy looking robots from the technically themed stock photos, if they don't fit to the image or its athmosphere?

But thanks for bumbing up my picture with three comments. Could I have you vote on top as well? ;)
Whoops

Misread Esubi81's comment about the execution. I thought you were talking about the quality of my entry's execution.
nice ART!

LauriA, a future marketing guru, let your work speak for itself. Praising your own work and dissing other's does not make your work look any better.

That is most likely true and that's why you see the word "future" in the profile description you're referring to. My response, that could be perhaps best described as arrogant, was quite simply an instant counter reaction to Esubi81's unjustified accusations. Luckily for me, this competition is not about judging character, but photoshop skills. I'd still like to think I did quite well on the latter. But thanks for the provocative feedback. ;)
