By NoTec on Tuesday, 27 November 2007 7:58 PM
Why do i get the feeling you didn't photograph the bottom shots of the cars on a green screen?
RE : By NoTec on Tuesday, 27 November 2007 7:58 PM
By sideshowsito on Wednesday, 28 November 2007 1:02 AM
every other car you see in
Response to NoTec .........
By sideshowsito on Wednesday, 28 November 2007 1:08 AM
( sorry I hit return and it SUBMITTED ) ... anyway ... back to what i was saying . Every other car you see in the picture is photographed by me ( i have the photos to prove it if anyone wants to see them ) . I do not believe in borrowing images or using pics from other sources online other than the crestock images provided. It was really challenging but it was worth it .. Even if i dont win anything, I learned alot of new things from this as far as the technical aspects of creating this peice ...
By AquaSquash on Wednesday, 28 November 2007 1:09 AM
First thing that i felt after seeing this image was "fear" as I can really imagine this happening in real life. Guess I better lay off the Sci-Fi for now lol. Great Job!
by the way .... NoTec ...
By sideshowsito on Wednesday, 28 November 2007 1:16 AM
in case youre all wondering .. the cars i used are 1:6 Die cast cars my dad has in the basement part of his collection , mixed with HOT WHEELS cars too - theyre TOYS .. not real cars !!! ( if that s what Notec was saying about me not photographing it ) ...
the weakness

I hope you accept critiques:
the weakness
By Kaiser on Wednesday, 28 November 2007 4:07 AM
the buildings distortion is weak, you shouldn't have distorted them.
Kaiser
By sideshowsito on Wednesday, 28 November 2007 4:11 AM
Hey all good bro ... I actually prefer critiques than people saying how they like it ... cuz at least i can get constructive criticm from it ...
Kaiser Pt 2
By sideshowsito on Wednesday, 28 November 2007 4:17 AM
ARGH .. and everytime you hit that damn ENTER button it registers the comment .. ANYWAy .. yeah no i totally see what you mean ... and i was debating if i should curve them or not ... i ended up tearing some of the buildings instead but the other shorter ones i left to curved to simulate the vacuum effect ? lol .. Thanks for your feedback nonetheless Kaiser ... I encourage everyone to please give me your constructive criticism as i too want to get better at what i do !! thanks again !
Nice

By stugriffith on Wednesday, 28 November 2007 2:13 PM
would be a fun halfpipe! good luck.
re : hubiiipl
By sideshowsito on Wednesday, 28 November 2007 3:07 PM
Thanks for your feedback . the colors are meant to be left that way to set the mood . The effect of things being not in focus is meant to be that way .. I am not trying to display the image to be perfect like everything in focus, again to illustrate that it could be a real photo, it was meant to be the way it was .. anyway thanks for your comments .. stufgriffith, dont forget your helmet and kneepads =P
re : hubiiipl
By sideshowsito on Wednesday, 28 November 2007 3:08 PM

Interesting theme
By iNubcake on Thursday, 6 December 2007 10:26 AM
damn i like this concept,

the building breaking on the right is a little weak expressed. you should have put more expression by adding more details to the building.
or you just could have put more details in that area of that building, not nessecarry the building itself.

but i think this is the best one,
winner

Great job. I work with some marketing companies abroad that are looking for high-end photoshop/ design experts for contract work. If interested, send me an email (same username at megaputz.com)
