interesting that there is no pearl necklace. the mist really makes the piece atmospheric. . . esp against the glow of the moon.

nice catch! you are right, the necklace has gone missing. i prefer not to state the obvious. originally, i thought to incorporate the knife to point to her demise, but instead decided to not include something -- the neckalce -- in the image to merely suggest that something "bad" transpired. and thanks for your addtional comments re: the surroundings. i always like to find new ways of working with light.
