As a long-time painter of Warhammer 40k and Battletech miniatures, i think this is awesome. Not a lot of Photoshop-ing though. Feels like it would fit into a worth1000 contest. Kudos for an original idea.

Well Steve, thanks a lot for your compliment. Actually, there's more photoshopping in there than one would think. As a long time "photoshopper" (since PS 2) I thought that was pretty challenging after all, I first thought it wouldn't give me that much trouble. But actually, the biggest challenge was to make it look like not a photoshop image, if you know what I mean.
p.s. those really are Citadel paints on the table, you may remember from end of 90's I think - relics from my roleplaying era. I wish I had time for all that these days...
Good photoshopping...

Thanks a lot for your vote dschlosser, and no, unfortunately my portfolio site deadgrafix.com is "under construction" until I find time to build it up again. Actually I hope it'll be done really soon, because I really need my work to be viewed online. So, please check back later this year or beginning of '08.
Cheers,
and merry upcoming holidays

Who cares how much photoshopping this image has...he did obviously use photoshop...and to match the lighting and everything does require some photoshop skills and thought. This should have been higher on the list. Very cool

Onnea sijoituksesta Crestockin kisassa, vaikka eihän se tietenkään voittoa korvaa. Mun nenäkorttia ei näköjään edes hyväksytty top-15 listalle. Ilmeisesti pitivät tekemääni kuvaa pilkkana mad-photoshop-skillssejä kohtaan =o)
Samoin!

Noh, täähän on Photoshop-kisa, joten siinä mielessä ihan ymmärrettävää...
