I thought it might be interesting to see how people built some of their images, so I am putting a link here to the source images I used. http://img108.mytextgraphics.com/photolava/2007/12/04/masqueradethumbnails-48pzxkkxf.jpg It is hard to tell sometimes how much people are using from source images and how much is from their head. I had an idea and then sourced the images that would help me build it. I paid attention to how light fell on my subjects and colour corrected or changed the lighting where I felt it needed it. If you find this of interest, useful, or have questions please leave a comment.
Very creative and stands out from the rest!

I am inspired by the creativity and presentation of characters and images plus the colors and details in the dress - WOW!. I feel like I want to attend the ball too. When is it? ha!
So many other entries are just a house or one image with a little bit of cut & paste added. Lots of time and work put in to this - You have my vote!
Thanks!

The work on lighting and attention to detail is great. This piece jumps out at you, the effort shows, a notch above the others. Also, not like many submissions that are creepy and weird.

This piece reminds me of a past cruise party with a port of call in New Orleans ... now wanting to visit Burban Street again :)
Thanks!

travel4fun, thanks for the kind words and your support. I didn't think that creepy and weird was the way to go and I thought that this would be more fun. I have not been to New Orleans but that was the original flavour that I had in mind — something festive and colourful.
