House On The Hill
For this piece I have used the house-in-the-field, the bird, both women(merged face onto body) and the dagger from the stock images supplied, I have not used any other image.
For the house 'stretch', firstly I cut up the house into layers, one for each facade, gutter section, roof sections, and the ground.
Each layer has been distorted, warped, smudged and transformed in one way or another. The sky section has 3 layers all oriented differently with different styles and fade percentages.
After playing with this image for a few days I settled on using the conte crayon filter with specific settings to create this dark and moody atmosphere. I felt that framing this with a border brought the picture more to life, creating a better feel.
