WOW!! This is great! I like what you've done to the tree. The guy with the guitar is a great touch too! Love the use of color and the life you brought to this. Great job!

Very beautiful - well done. Did you paint everything in PS or did you also use Illustrator?
Thank you :)
on Thursday, 6 December 2007 10:13 PM
Thanks so much for the compliment. This particular piece was done almost completely in PS, although I did use Illustrator to arrange the letters in "eden" before bringing it into PS because I find it much easier to work with type in AI. Thanks again for the kind words.

Very cool... only thing is... thats an electric guitar mate so... where is the amp?
on Thursday, 6 December 2007 10:28 PM
Don't get me wrong, i love it but the Les Paul is a bit on the heavy side to say the least so i cant imagine that guy having to drag it all the way to that tree so that he wouldn't be able to hear himself play. ;) Besides that, its cool stuff. Good luck to you mate!

This is top notch work! Did you create the steps, flowers, leaves, etc. in photoshop? Or did you use external photos?
on Friday, 7 December 2007 4:37 PM
Thanks for your kind comment Steve. :) The steps are stock, and the flowers and leaves are a mix of Photoshop painting and stock photos (mostly vegetables, ;), I hope it doesn't show). Thanks again, I sincerely appreciate the feedback.

If its not a secret :) can you link to the stock steps photo you used? Just for education purposes.
