I pretty much gave up working on mine when I saw this one. Too good for words.

my tree transitions from bare to leafy similar to yours, but it's a completely different concept, so it's ok :)

Well done. Nice detail. I'm still deciding on the sharp photographic elements, such as the mountains in the right BG...

Fantastic overall concept!

Although the concept is good and the whole piece is very effective in conveying your message, the sharpness of the mountains jars a bit in relation to the rest of the artwork. Same for the blue-headed bird, which doesn't blend into the picture properly. Maybe it's to do with the lighting ... I'm not sure what, but it just looks a bit odd.

Although there are a couple off odd details in this overall it's a very well done picture. The wood texturing of the body and the leaves on the tree are excellent and far better than the votes show. This should be much higher up, good luck anyway.
