Title:
The Beauty in the Beast.
Something good grows inside the most darkest of beings. No external images. All given stock photos are used, but from the guitar I only took one small thing and some texture.

Great work! Very convincing! My only complaint (very small)...the strap and shoulder shapes don't mesh visually. The rest of the image is perfect.

Man, that's just something beautiful. I really like the surrealistic world you created. Very original idea, indeed. :)

Skin texture

I created a pattern from the woodtexture of the tree. Then I applied it over the figure with 50% Fill & Soft Light. Then just some adjustments to the colors.

Great work! I like that you've gone a bit wild with the original material, you have to actually search for the originals before you spot all of them. The character displays some real imagination.

As you can see my beast is soon gone with the wind, so your tiny beast better hurry before there's nothing left to catch. :)

There aren't too many entries on this round that could be described as something unexpected and original. This one is by far my favourite, good luck.

Really nice original use of the phone, and the texturing was a clever idea. The only bit I don't quite like are the green bits 'flying' off to the left, they seem a bit over-saturated and random to me. Apart from that it's cool tho.

Thanks to everyone who voted.
It would seem that I have very little chance of winning this anymore as I'm already a 100 votes behind the leading entry. I'm still happy though, because the final image turned out to be a lot better than I originally expected. I'm also taken by the fact that people couldn't come up with harder critisism than "the flying leaves are a bit over-saturated" :)
So thanks again and best of luck to everyone,
Lauri Ahonen.

I like the fact that this has a little abstract tone.
