Thanks - much appreciated! I wanted to meet all the requirements of the competition by conveying a new take on a classic concept. Another idea was to place the source images in a tilted perspective. It was challenging because the source images were primarily centered compositions, and I wanted to stay away from that. For visual impact I wanted the focus to end up in the lake of fire, strong color usually conveys happiness but in this case it is the opposite. Technically, I stayed clear of "painting" on the images as much as possible, instead use other tools that P-Shop has to offer. Good luck to all who entered! Very nice. Interesting use of the source materials, especially using the guitar shape in sort of a negativve space ay for the fiery pit. Nice photoshopping!

Thank you - I added hints of the tree source image in the fire to give it some texture as well. As if whatever is down there was once organic or alive.
brilliant!

I had the opportunity and pleasure to see first-hand some of Rafael's works over the years. I am very impressed with the treatment of light in this photo!!!! The light is penitrating the darkness--- Good over Evil!!! (Do explain what "photoshopping" is-- from one who came out of Tom Brokaw's "Boom" age!!! ) Again, nice job Rafael!!
