This is really an image that expressed the idea of speed very well. The boats are literally flying through the air. It also shows the fierce competition in those races. Well done.

This is the kind of picture that I would like to take some day but first I need a beter camera.

I expecially like the colors in this image. Was there any post-processing done?

Hi David, thanks for your comment. I did the usual post processing: cropping, levels and contrast adjustment but no blurring or anything else to create a false speed effect. The colors look better on the original image. Here they look a little dark and dull.

I believe all photos in this comp deserve atleast one vote, for people going to the trouble of entering a pic which to them represents "SPEED DEMON" everyones idea is different which makes a competition interesting. Good work :-) cheers
