Eh... add a weeee bit of color I think. Photo Filter orange/sepia/warmth 89 or whatever in the dark spots. Or make the sun look like it's hitting her face (which it is), but do it with color? I don't know if that counts as photo manipulation but I think needs something more. Maybe less DOF? Blur the background/her outer hair a touch? I don't know, these are just thoughts.
