Touched | The Crestock Photography Contest 2007

Title: Touched

This photo was taken in the StPeter cathedral in Vatican city. I think it came out as a great symbolism of the tourists coming into that great architectural building and getting "touched" by it's magesty. Just like the builder ment it, to represent "god".

This is honestly one the the most moving pictures I remember. I am not a typically spiritual person, but by watching those rays of light entering the cathedral through the windows, I felt it is perfect allegory of the terrestrial word getting touched by a divine force.

Great pic. My entry in this contest is also a beam of light coming into St. Peters in Vatican City. Very cool we have the same concept :)
