Life is a relation with God. What is life without prayers and fear in God. It is God who gave us life in the first place. Nice contrast and i like the concept and idea.

you have maximized here the use of natural light. You have shown here a higher plane of life.

this composition is popular. although the image is heavy loaded with emotion and symbols i wouldn't put vote on this beautiful image because of the theme and i thing there shouldn't be any human figure, or human body parts.....

the meaning of life for me is being understanding for every human being and you cannot understand every one of theme if you dont have faith in our lord the meaning of life is being with the Lord good luck

Withered hands but definitely not a withered soul....This photo simply shows that life is definitely empty with out God..

faith is the only thing we have when we go older.but the creator of our life is still the same , i think what the photographer want to say about his photo is,every one of us is going older and when we go older somteimes no one ever gonna takecare for us,and the meaning of life for him is we have to still hold on to God what ever relegion we have we need GOD.bye...

I think this is slightly too overexposed, but otherwise, the nice, typical old person with dark, roughled skin hand shot. Could have used a little "Warmth" 89 or Sepia Photo Filter in Photoshop to give it more tone. VERY little tone because the black & white works, but it needs a little color in the blackout areas I feel.

wow this got so many votes. what everyone is calling natural light looks a lot more to me like jacked up contrast. i don't know, maybe i've just seen my fair share of wrinkly hands in foreign countries. it looks kind of typical.
