A very nice concept of father's love for his child. In every man's life always dream of becoming a good father to his child/children. I like the shot very much.

Great shot, great color, great concept, great subject, great composition! It perfectly depicts a father's love for his child and the happiness they share regardless of the fact that their faces are not shown. It combines the new (plane) and the old (father and child in a boat).

This photo is receiving a lot of votes for violating the rules and putting a frame around the image. I understand it's personal opinion folks but come on. rule #4 states: "Submitted entries must be free of signatures, frames or similar elements that are not part of the actual photograph." Are we just wasting votes here? I love the image but, we must adhere to the rules.

nice idea and compositon but I 'd call this rather over filtered.to my personal taste artifical colors has taken photographic quality away.and I am afraid to say the plane is very distracting I personally couldn't relate it with the theme.and my final personal verdict is this image is over estimated for the sake of it's vibrant colors,which I think works well as an illustration but not as a photograph

I would have preferred it without the plane otherwise I think the rest of it is lovely

I relay with this picture its happen two different parents the other is even though they have nothing but still he has his child and the happy being together the plane maybe representing the other side of father hood he go away from his family to work to another place to earn more money for the future of their family its happen to me before and i really like this picture its for all father good luck

What a great shot, telling the child that someday he will ride that plane and reach his dreams in life.

I imagine how happy this father was.being father is more than enough for him.and every man wish is to have a family and to be a happy father.life is being responsible to a child gave us by God

What good are the rules if nobody needs to follow them? Rule #4 folks... #4... This image should not have even been allowed into the voting phase. There are several other entries which were placed into the voting phase which don't comply with the rules. At least one has a copyright shown in the image, and multiple have frames added to the image. Rules, are there for a reason, if the contest participants don't follow the rules they should be DQ'd.

Could anyone of you pleace explain me, how come so many of you are from the same archepilago?

jazzplanet this is not my picture but maybe why this photo is still here, just because people love it, and remember the organizer of this photo contest was eliminate lot of photo remember this is 1700 entry and they've cut to 490 picture it means this photo is relevant to the contest because if is not you will not see it here may be your photo is not that good to the eyes of the viewer. just respect others opinion so they respect you as well actually i gave my vote to you

i title it far away beacause of the reason askme mhy? I know someone in the plane is leaving away from his family maybe in any reason he will not see his family maybe a month ayear or maybe morethan that he will miss his child like i did.when i saw this photo is remind me with my only son.Im be with him for a couple of year Am working here abroad for him and thats the thing maybe i like this photo good luck for this photo hope it win also to crestock job well done for this contest
