Nice idea. IMO could be better if the ball is seen as a whole ;p

Look fake for me... Looks like some one holding the ball on one side and the other guy is just acting throwing from far. If the ball is flying at a high speed, there's no way it looks like this !

Looks like thanhdad you are not only a grammatical genius, but a wise man in so many other ways. Thank you for your insight. Thank you.

Yeah, thanhdad could be right (I wonder if anyone would risk a camera on the precision of a pitcher, given the speed involved and so on) but then again, does it matter? Even if done in a studio, it's still a great idea with nearly perfect composition (I would've cropped out much of the right side), good colors and vivid detail on the ball.

Unless you decided to trash a camera I don't think that this is a "real" photo, or at least you are not properly describing the situation in your comment about the photo. I do not believe this photo to be photojournalistic it must have been set up. There's no way it could have been a "snap of a pitch" without you destroying a lens...

this photo doesnt show the ball in motion. it looks like somebody is holding the ball and the man at he back poses like he threw the ball...

I don't care what anyone says about this picture. It's a masterpiece! for all those who say otherwise, ( thanhdad, td, and pie ) you obviosly don't appreciate good ideas. Out of all of the pictures i have looked at during this contest, this picture, for some odd reason, captures my eyes and fully demonstrates the theme of the contest. kudos to jrossh21
