My primary model is legally blind, and I've really struggled on how to instruct her poses. The ball idea is great, but she can't follow the ball since she can't see that far. So what we tried was a small flashlight that is bright enough for her to see, and it worked beautifully! Thank you soooo much, Yuri!!! Problem solved!!!
