My political belief is complicated and vague, however, I can safely say my views are liberal. All my life I have longed for liberty and freedom both economically and socially. I am not from US, so I cannot vote! I am from Maldives and we are going through our election too, for either a 35 years of continuous ruling or a change! In this respect, looking at history at large, today, I believe that no political theory can change the world! Every theory is based on an ideology, and no ideology on its own can improve the way of life. For any ideology will have it's good and bad. Even if an ideology is intended to help us, no one can make it a reality without the right people, people who are willing to make things right and better, people who share similar visions. Including the leaders and the citizens. What good can a leader alone do, if the people do not want and/or do not know how to cope with development? To every country the leader is just an image of the peoples determination and desires! So to my common sense, any country can only get better when the people stand up and want it to get better! So make a choice and stand by your President!
