Remembering the Jolly Days...
Santa is still going house to house, but this time he isn't delivering toys to little boys and little girls, instead he is trying to cheer them up! man things are bad... I used most of the pictures given for the contest. I posed Santa like the guy, and made him carry the baby. I also used some of the snow to give it some texture, and the broken down house for the background... I really wanted a painterly feel for this one. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did making it. Have a jolly Christmas...

I wish you good luck. You combined very well the images and the style is magnificent.

(a minor thing: the painted style makes it less actual)

The required elements are incorporated in this artwork and this image was also created in Photoshop. I would say that is "photoshopping". The only thing that sets this artwork apart from the others is that a different approach was taken when rendering it.
I like it. reminds me of a Norman Rockwell.

Nice looking entry and i like it, but i find it hard to see how you used the sources without more explanation.....Only Cresstock sources i see are the 2 masks.
Maybe Crestock could of allowed step guides so people can see what other sources were used or how the works were created.

I just love how you were able to incorporate the pictures and make them part of the painting. I can see the, the posture of the guy, the masks, the snow, the baby crying, the Christmas ball, and the broken walls! Great job, I wish you the best of luck!
Art-Delicious!
