Crestock Team,
I have a simple suggestion to make your contributors happier. Change the upload process to eliminate the requirement for keywords and any other steps until after the photo is accepted. Most of us, I’m guessing, can handle the high rejection rates. The killer is the amount of time it takes to add the keywords, choose categories, and etc. after we upload the file. The process I suggest is something like this: 1) Upload the files. 2) You accept/reject as usual and put accepted files in the ‘awaiting keywords’ bin. 3) We add keywords to accepted files. 4) You review the keywords and post the file. This will save contributors a ton of time and make rejection a much easier pill to swallow. To avoid a flood of junk photos because it’s now easier to upload, you could possibly tie upload allowances to rejection rates.

It is an interesting idea, but some of us already embed title, description and keywords in the ICTP data so that wouldn't make a difference.

What I personally would suggest to improve the uploading further is to make us click once on the checklist of terms instead of doing it on every single photo, or at least it could be on the same page as the image information page so we'd have to scroll rather than clicking through pages which takes longer.
Also having clicked the "finish upload" button it should take us to the next upload and if there are not more uploads then to the bulk upload page, thats yet another extra click saved.
If the system followed what I said before we could be uploading non-model release photos with one click (if the categories are the same from previous photos). Having to click boxes in the same page is not as bad as having to click submit buttons to go to other pages. These changes dont take too much scripting and should be fairly easy to implement.

A more complicated one would be with model release handling systems as I have to upload the same releases over and over and with big groups up to 19 releases for a photo I am not particularly looking forward to it :(
