Attention: New Forum in Progress

Unfortunately, our current forum software is causing us some problems, so we have decided to turn off the posting capabilities - for now. We decided to develop our very own forum to get it just right - and it will be up and running again towards the end of August.

We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Until the new forum is available, you can still browse and read the old forums, but unfortunately not post new messages.

Thank you so much for your patience!

RE: Photoshop Contest: Week 4
Sorry, I hit the replay under another picture and it placed my comment under the picture you just posted as it was the last post, mine went under it.  I should have hit quote I guess.  Did not mean to upset you or create a problem and I have not seen your picture before.  Now the one I have seen before, I am looking for it right now and will post a link to it some time today if I can find it.  Again, sorry.

I have seen this picture before

Mine? The three days I've just spend in Photoshop would suggest otherwise, and I can provide the PSD to the judges if there's any doubt. Why even make a stupid claim like that unless you have something to back it up with? Lets have a fair competition instead of trying to negatively effect people's votes!

RE: Photoshop Contest: Week 4
So I was going to enter this contest my friend told me about and after reviewing some of the pics and voting I have decided not to waste my time. I did however want to point something out. If you will go to Computer Art’s website (out of the UK) you will find about 20 images that have been posted. The “artists” have just pasted one or two of the images in the original and called it theirs. If you’re going to run a contest you have got to have some way to check for this. Also, what’s up with the voting? Go to PhotoshopContest.com and look at how they do it. Now that is fair. I have seen several images that are scored as a 1 or 2 that are much more impressive than that. I have voted on several and I would never rank something a 1 unless it was done in MS Paint or something. That being said, I wish everyone good luck and if this website gets their act together maybe I will participate when it is more fair to everyone. Now off to church.

dont u think your work is a "little bit" similar to mine?? c'mon man, idea, composition, similar tones, even some lines.... check last work on page 2 :

Hmm...Actually, i dont think they are simillar. The only thing that connects them is the color (and not only your work has that color) and those for lines which i didnt even see on your work. (and i dont have only those 4 lines, i have lines for each object) I started this work as soon they published images, so trust me, it was not inspired by you.

I am really sorry if you think i ripped something, but trust me, its not my way...

anyways, we will let judges decide on that.

good luck

sD

alright than, guess im overreacting a little bit ;) sorry for that, looks like we got the same idea you just spent more time on it, best of luck, sorry for my reaction, peace

Absolutely amazing. The best I think I've seen so far. Extraordinary! :)

considering the amount of frauds and voterigging i think people will think that we know each other... :|

anyways, thanks a lot ;)

i am just sad that i didnt get to give it a final touch (there is a lot of H/S, colorbalance, bluring and sharpening left), because someone else already came up with "exploding cam" few posts behind, so i had to submit my entry quickly to avoid being accused of forgery or something...

Everybody ease up - show some class and don't bash your competitors.

When it comes to vote rigging, we are completely on top of the situation and we are monitoring the results. We are fully aware of the fact that people are trying to manipulate the scores, but these votes will be audited and removed.

May we also remind everybody that there is also the possibility of disqualification. Follow the rules and you'll be ok, but we guarantee that all vote rigging will be taken care of.

Now, go and have some Photoshop fun!:w00t:
