RE: Photoshop Contest: Week 4
Posted by pain219: I used the so amazing and vivid picture of the cracks in the desert sand.
I wanted to make something different and over the top. The colours were intresting and I saw a samurai in the shapes of the cracks.
lots of great works here, but also too many flying carpets in the desert! (:
This Samurai has just realized his master is dead and he totally LOST IT!
He has taken his masters katana and now he is wielding two katanas at the same time. Oooooh.
He has just spotted his former masters arch-nemesis with a bloody dagger in his hands.
Time for revenge as a last favour for his old master!
But now he realizes he is a Ronin - a masterless samurai - and he doesn't need to obey the rules...
He is giving him the tongue before the final blow!

Posted by adrienne: Thanks for the challenge! Even if i don't win, it was a great way to start back into the habit of "fine art" in Photoshop. Too much of what i do lately is "boring monkey work" for clients!'

Posted by ereizi: I tried to keep it simple in terms of image use. I wanted to bring across action and movement rather than a collage of 6 images.
