Submission Deadline Questions

hi there.

i hope to enter the contest only 3 days left though...

but i have a question as i'm working on my submission:

- why is the voting on already?

- shouldn't the voting be on when the submission possibilities are closed? (deadline. so voting would start on the 21st)

can anyone explain a little, i'm a bit confused.
