Attention: New Forum in Progress

Unfortunately, our current forum software is causing us some problems, so we have decided to turn off the posting capabilities - for now. We decided to develop our very own forum to get it just right - and it will be up and running again towards the end of May.

We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Until the new forum is available, you can still browse and read the old forums, but unfortunately not post new messages.

Thank you so much for your patience!

RE: Hello all
Thank you very much. The diver came out kinda cool but i dont like the harsh lighting.
It will be some time before i can reshoot.

Thanks again for the warm welcome

RE: Hello all
I think it was the 'harsh' lighting I particularly liked :)
I thought this gave it a kind of 'deep dark water' feel with just the single beam of light illuminating it.

I don't know if you've got access to proper studio lighting, but I find that to be one of the problems with shooting in a studio; it is relatively easy to get nice, smooth, even lighting, but a lot harder to set up lighting that helps convey a certain mood and sense of place.
I thought that worked pretty well on your diver shot.

RE: Hello all
I had 20mins to take this shot no tripod no lights. I grabed a drop light from down the hall lol, Long shutter, hand held and only 20min to get it right and this is what i came out with.

I would like to thank you for you for your response it don't seem like the forum verry active here.
