Only 1 download so far but i know my portfolio needs some work but as my skills increase so will sales. Just keep in mind at the rate Internet is growing so is the need for photos and i want thousand+ quality photos in my portfolio in the future.

Just my 2 cents

Well, I had actually forgotten about this site but I made a sale and here I am. I only have a few images here that are now old and look really horrible to me. Yikes!

Maybe I will upload a few more but building a port is so difficult and if I remember correctly I stopped uploading here because the rejection rate was astronomical. Not saying it's their fault only I had no idea what they wanted so I stopped trying.

I'll have to think about it.

Sorry, I'm rambling here. :)

I have experienced an increase in  downloads in the last month or so, and take this as a good sign. Anyway, still a few months to go to get my first payout, but I see progress.

Only one successful upload here, with plenty of rejections and as yet no downloads. Can hardly expect to get many with only one photo up though! I've been a member around a month and a half. I've only had one download on any stock site over this same period of time. It's fun though, I enjoy taking pictures, so there's nothing to lose really. I'd always be taking photographs anyway so any download is a bonus. I think my one photo here ain't too bad though. :P

I've been here since I don't know when, have only 60 images, sold five and the last four were all subscription sales, giving me a mere 25c, even for a vector file. I'm quite disappointed.

Not my experience. I have seen a clear increase in downloads the last month or so. :)

I have to agree with Dhoxax...I think the magazine advertisements are really paying off for Crestock, because since my start sales have been steady.

By the way Dhoxax I love your portfolio, awesome work!

Must say I agree with Puentes here – sales have been going increasingly well recently, glad to hear that (some) others notice that too. I've sold about 8-10 photos today I think, but then I do have quite a few uploads. It still varies a bit, some days can be completely quiet.

It's interesting, and sometimes surprising to see what sells though, it's not always the obvious 'stock' images – the other day I even sold this one, I have no idea why!

before i pull the plug.

I am pretty much getting downloads each day now. Today I got three downloads. Not a lot, sure, but this site is definitely going up. I am confident that it will be a well-known quality site a year from now. Of course, I could stop uploading photos until the boom comes, but why wait? I prefer to have a head start, that is, a rather big portfolio when this site booms. I done the same with quite af few other well know sites when they were “young” – and it paid off in the long run.

About rejections: Yes, I believe there have been too many. And even worse, that there have been a lot of rejections without a clear rejection pattern (kind of random). But I believe this is changing, at least I am happy to say I hardly get rejections anymore.

SAME HERE

for the first couple of months I didnt sell a single image, and my portfolio was pretty small

right now Im selling at least 1 a day or sometimes 5, which is satisfying, as the portfolio grows and time passes I believe we will have some good pocket money..
