The new and revolutionary status has been praised for about two months and is still not online.

Will it be rolled out anytime soon? It would make some things a lot easier for the contributors.

I think I have been asleep, what kind of status are you talking about and how would it make it easier for us (the contributors), since I have not heared anything about this?

Funny - I don't think it was just wishful thinking but I am pretty sure it has been mentioned by Crestock that they were (are) working on a new status page.

I even read about an update on the status of the status right before Christmas but can't find it here in the forums anymore...

A detailed status is helpful at least for me to determine the frequency of what images sell here. Or at least how much $$$ the best sellers generated so far especially since a lot of subscription commissions came in distorting the #'s compared to the original pricing at the beginning of Crestock. Either way it's money - so we'll see.

That would be very good (to have a status report in which you could actually see all sales listed). Currently I find it odd that when we get a sale, we only know about it from the email, then we must go online and view a large image of the download to find out which image was downloaded ! I don't need to see a large view of my image just to find out about a sale. I just need a list. This is surely frustrating for those who do not have DSL or another fast online service. I feel it is also frustrating to need to click on a whole medium-sized image to find out the rejection reason. Previously this information was right there in the email, which took much less time and one did not need to be online to read the rejection reason. It's good that we can see our list of rejections and read the reason, but thumbnails would be adequate. And it would be nice to simply read the reason in the email. Otherwise there's not much use for even sending out an email.

Badboo, you are absolutely correct, we promised new and greatly improved sales statistics for our photographers and illustrators. The reason that you haven't seen anything of it yet is that we are working on an improved system for image uploads, which has first priority, and the statistics have consequently been postponed. When the new upload system is finished, the statistics will be next, and we expect to have a working version of the sales statistics operating in apx. two months.
