I submitted 3 vector images that were in EPS V.8  along with a corresponding large Jpeg. The vectors were separately zipped. They got rejected for :
  • Custom
  • Please upload the files, uncompressed
  • I don't understand as they were uploaded as per the guidlines. Now I'm totally confused!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks:w00t:

OK... I've got a similar question. What does the "Custom" mean in the comments for rejected images?

Wouldn't it be a good idea to put all those "codes" into the FAQ section?

    Thanks for your answer,

The "Custom" in our rejection notes is something of a bug. Essentialy, when an inspector feels it necessary to write a customized rejection reason, they chose "Custom" and then write their message, which appears as a rejection note. Unfortunately, the little "Custom" bit also appears as an individual reason, but it doesn't actually mean anything on it's own, so please just disregard it.

Your suggestion to make an explanation of our rejection reasons in the FAQ is definately a good one, we have known for a while now that our standard rejection reasons have been confusing, but instead of making explanations in the FAQ, we are working on making a new set of rejection reasons to replace the old ones, which will be more detailed and sensible than what you currently get.
