Attention: New Forum in Progress

Unfortunately, our current forum software is causing us some problems, so we have decided to turn off the posting capabilities - for now. We decided to develop our very own forum to get it just right - and it will be up and running again towards the end of May.

We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Until the new forum is available, you can still browse and read the old forums, but unfortunately not post new messages.

Thank you so much for your patience!

Can someone help me by find out how's owner of this image?

Hye all!!

Ok, my story is like this. Before this i made some graphic artwork image for non-profit web site. That image originally i take it/download it after i search it at Yahoo.com & Google.com . After i done with my artwork and display it on my friends personal website, somebody come to with a "two barrel gun" and claim & give me a warning that image is under their copyright so i cant use it where it will be a conflict between two website. Personally and seriously i know that image/logo is not their under their copyright coz i know i'm not taken from their web site but i'm forgot where originally URL i take it. Therefor i wish if somebody here know who's the original owner with any URL link let me know it where i can come out with my "double barrel gun" and shoot them back. Here that image:

RE: Can someone help me by find out how's owner of this image?
This image (or at least this character, without the headphones) looks very familiar to me, but I just can't place it. It's as if I see it all over the place... just can't think where. I'll let you know if I remember. You may have taken it off Yahoo or whatever, but that doesn't mean that the person who put it there has the copyright. Many people put things there wrongly. It's possible this person who is angry with you does actually have the copyright or is the original designer, so be careful. This is a good "heads-up" for the future-- don't use stuff unless you're absolutely sure you have permission.... especially if it looks as familiar as this does.

Dear AardLumens, Thanxs for reply. Actually that person absolutely i know that he/she is not owner of that image/graphic. Although i cant remember where URL i get it but i know that website is not host in my country or for my country community, therefor that website who's claims they got that copyright (host in my country) i dont believe it. Maybe because he/she found first on search engine so their claim he/she the one who have a "right to use it first". So what i want now is i want to know where is original link/url for this web site where i can let them know that i didnt steal for her/his web site and to make she/he aware that her/his is not owner for that image or designer for that image.

I think I know now why this looks so familiar--- because someone on another stock site that I'm on uses this facial image as their avatar. But that doesn't help us figure out where it originally came from!
