I tried to upload a graphic picture but it seems doesn't work. It say if i want to upload under Ai, I shall compressed and make it under zip doc and I have to attach same pic or design under JPEG.

The issue with me is, I dont really understand how it work.

Let say, after I save it under zip or eps, I need to upload on the uploading images right? But it seems decline many time. was it because of I wrongly save?

Can anybody here help me to improve it. Maybe teach me how to save and upload the AI program.

I thanking you in advance.

If your graphics are stored in JPEG format, not AI or EPS, you shouldn't try uploading them as vector files at all. Just upoad them in the same way you would upload a photo.

To create AI or EPS files (vector files), you need special software, such as Adobe Illustrator, which is able to save graphics in the correct formats.

what I meant is, I create a graphic picture from Ai CS2 and I want to upload it here. Usually I upload with format JPEG. Now I want to upload it as Ai or Eps format.

what should I do? It seems that I cant upload a vector graphic under Eps file directly can I? and I wasnt sure how to do it though. Please guide me.

Hi emie,

There are two things to get right when uploading vector files:

1: Even if you're uploading vector files you also need to supply a preview image of your illustration in JPEG format. Use the 'export' function in Illustrator to create a JPEG of your illustration. If the JPEG is sufficiently large, your illustration will be made available for download as a JPEG in addition to the original vector format, which usually means you will get more sales. You can find more details about this here: http://www.crestock.com/technical-requirements.aspx#vector

2: For our upload system to understand which JPEG file accompanies which vector file, the JPEG must have the same filename as the original vector file (apart from the file extension, of course). So if your illustration is 'my-illustration.ai', the jpeg should be named 'my-illustration.jpg'.

You can upload the vector files and the accompanying jpeg using either the standard multiple file upload system or via FTP, and if you save your illustration as an EPS, you should zip it before you upload it.

I hope that explains how things work a bit better.
