Attention: New Forum in Progress

Unfortunately, our current forum software is causing us some problems, so we have decided to turn off the posting capabilities - for now. We decided to develop our very own forum to get it just right - and it will be up and running again towards the end of May.

We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Until the new forum is available, you can still browse and read the old forums, but unfortunately not post new messages.

Thank you so much for your patience!

Newbie question - Available file sizes
Posted in Newbies on 16. August 2007 by jpimages

Hi, I'm new here and have a question. I noticed that my photos are available in only 4mp. How can this be when I uploaded with a size of 6mp? Can someone clarify this? I'm thinking this can steer away potential buyers.

Thanks,

RE: Newbie question - Available file sizes
As I understand it Crestock will downsize images rather than reject them if they dont quite make the quality standards at full size.

Thats right, Spanishalex. To avoid having to reject good pictures for being of a lesser technical quality, we introduced the resizing feature. This allows our reviewers to approve a lot more pictures.
