Attention: New Forum in Progress

Unfortunately, our current forum software is causing us some problems, so we have decided to turn off the posting capabilities - for now. We decided to develop our very own forum to get it just right - and it will be up and running again towards the end of May.

We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Until the new forum is available, you can still browse and read the old forums, but unfortunately not post new messages.

Thank you so much for your patience!

To be honest.  Mine is 27 :(  Very slow sale over here.

RE: Your total downloads
Mine is 20 here ...... somewhere over the rainbow.... 1500/750/500/400 and so on.... why????
Most of images are the same. Maybe because of decisions taken by reviewer???
Sometimes if I upoad 10 images on Crestock and the same on other agencies, it happens that Crestock reviwer chose 1 or 2 photos and reject all the other, while on all other agencies they chose the photos rejected by Crestock and reject the 1 or 2 chose by Crestock. On the other agencies I sell hundreds of photos, on Crestock..... 20 in more than 1 year. IT'S A SHAME!!!!!!
But I'm not ashamed sombody else here must be. When somebody is not able to do something, he could learn the How To somewhere else instead of making waste time to people who work hard!!!
Have a nice dayyyyy!

RE: Your total downloads

Thats a shame about your pictures aren't performing as well as you'd hope they would. Crestock employs a set of standards in the inspection process so that buyers can be sure of a quality and varied collection of pictures. We don't approve everything just to say that we have more pictures. Customers are more interested in quality, and thats how we can attract new and loyal customers, that will return.

For the photographers though, we feel its important to be consistent in our inspections so that photographers can use the feedback to achieve a higher quality in their own work, that will sell. Helping photographers is very much in our best interests. Therefore, we've a series of articles prepared that have been written by some of the leading professionals in the field. These articles will cover most areas of producing microstock photography, including the technical aspects, explaining rejections reasons, and also more generally covering concepts and themes that sell. More on that soon...

RE: Your total downloads
13 downloads in my first few weeks. That is OK but the minimum payout of $100 is far too high. Is that going to be lowered? $30 would be more like it.

RE: Your total downloads
Mystockphotos,

Yeah, we've agreed that the payout limit should be lowered. Its happening in the next few days, hopefully in time before you reach the payout amount.

RE: Your total downloads
I've only had 3 sales myself.  I like crestock and hope that it will catch on and get more buyers soon.

RE: Your total downloads
Hmmm..must be a trend or maybe the same reviewer?

I also had a strange rejection for over filtered.
http://www.crestock.com/rejected-image.aspx?id=430185

This was simply setup and shot as you see it.
Of course the money was not real - unfortunately I don't have money to burn :D

Also this was approved by another site that rejects almost everything.

If it is indeed viewed as over filtered - cool, no problem.
Please let me know what is considered over filtered.

Vclements,

The forum seems to be playing up a bit, been doing it to me all day, posting posts in wrong places. I'll have a look at the rejection for you.

Thanks.
With regards to the forum take a look at the session objects.
It seems like they are being incorrectly cached????
