Any way to extend the site cookie so it doesn't require a log in each time one returns to the site?

Dear Node.
That is a good idea, and we will look into that and see how and when and what. For now I will recommend using Firefox (www.firefox.com) as your webbrowser, if you allow it, this browser will remember all your usernames and passwords for you.

Username and password isn't an issue :) It'd just be nice to have to not log in every time.
