I see the section of the site that registers a photographers model, request a lot more information than most other sites. How private is this information. I have concerns for my Models privacy and protection.
1.The "public name" of the model, is this shown on the site to the public?
2. Do you give the Customer a copy of the signed model release form
3. The identifying photo, min 270 pixels say "may be visible to the public, what does this mean?
4. Seeing the photo on the MR maybe visible to the public, is the signed model release form visible to the public or buyers?
Thank you
RE: New Model Registration
1 & 3: The 'public name' and the image of the model will be visible to the public in the 'more images of the same model' listing underneath previews of images featuring the model in question. The 'Public Name' should therefore be a name that the models are happy to make public, it could be just their first name, a nickname or just an initial if they prefer to be anonymous.
2. Customers do not normally have access to the model release. Should a customer request to see the model release because they have concerns about using images in a high profile or controversial setting without knowing the details set out in the model release, we will contact the photographer to discuss this further.
4. The model release is not made public as long as you upload a photo of the model where requested – one or two photographers have misunderstood or overlooked this and uploaded the actual scanned model release instead of just a photo of the model here.
I hope that helps.
