The same thing has been happening with my images as well.

Photos I ftp are not showing up on website. I can ftp files.
However, they don't show up on the website when I click "Refresh folder contents".
Photos I upload through the website are OK.
I'd very much appreciate it if this problem could be fixed, thanks.

Can someone from Crestock please help?
I have
- submitted using online form (in December 2007); no reply
- emailed support; i got a reply, but since then Crestock since to have forgotten about me despite several emails (log attached in previous message)
- posted on the forum; no reply
I am at a loss as to how to get the problem fixed or pursue the matter further with Crestock. What else can I do?
Basically, I can ftp files. The files arrive at the ftp site (I can see the files on the server), but they are not being properly migrated to the website.

I have had similar problems. I still cannot access Crestock through my ftp software. I kept asking for help in the forum and someone finally replied and said to contact the help desk. I have not recieved an answer from them yet, but only emailed yesterday. Being a new member this experience has been very frustrating so far. It is much easier and faster to upload all my initial photos through ftp. Hope this can be resolved soon for us all...

@Elvinstar,
We noticed a lot of your images coming through in the queue. Have you managed to come on via ftp, yet? I believe helpdesk is trying to help you get it sorted out as quickly as possible.

No, those are the ones I uploaded through the site. It took me hours and hours to get just that far. I have just tried to connect through ftp and am still getting the same error message. Thanks for your attention and concern!

Thanks joshDK for posting. Is there any update at all from anyone at support? It's been more than a month since I reported the initial problem.

@kgtoh - Is the problem still that you can upload files but they don't show up in your account?
They are all jpeg files and you are not putting them in the 'temp' folder when you upload them?
@elvinstar - when you say you can't access crestock, do you get an error message of some kind when you try to log on? What ftp application are you using?

hi gudmund, thanks for replying.
Yes, I upload files through ftp, but they just sit there (I can see them in the dirctory using the ftp client) and do not seem to be processed by the system when I click "Refresh folder contents"
I am uploading them into the default main directory when I ftp in.
I had been doing this before without problem.
By the way, I don't see a temp directory in the directory listing.
Thanks for your help; hope to have this resolved soon.

Kgtoh, I've checked all aspects of your account now, and did a test upload to your FTP folder from my usual FTP app. The folder was empty when I accessed it, once I had uploaded a test file it showed up as ready for processing in your account, so there does not seem to be any fundamental problems with uploading to your account or those files being recognised by the upload system.
We have been doing some changes to our server setup recently, so it could be that this has caused some conflicts with how your FTP application has your Crestock FTP details saved. The only thing I can suggest is that you start your FTP login from scratch and see if this resolves the problem: specify ftp.crestock.com as the server address and log in with your username and password (case sensitive). You should now find a single file called testimage.jpg in your FTP folder.
Please let me know how you get on.
@Chloetru: could you describe what the problem you've experienced is? I checked your FTP account as well and could not find any problems: 15 files were uploaded, all files showed up as ready to be processed and the files processed without errors.

Update on FTP problems:
It seems that some FTP applications save the IP address rather than just the URL when you bookmark a connection. Given that we have changed our server setup recently, you could therefore be directed to the wrong server.
If you have problems using FTP although this has worked for you in the past, it's a good idea to start the login from scratch rather than just clicking the bookmarked connection; create a new connection, put ftp.crestock.com as the server and use your usual username and password.
This could resolve the problem if your bookmarked FTP connection is pointing you to the old server IP address.
