FTP AI jpg in Zip
Posted in Crestock discussion on 24. January 2008 by artmyth

Howdy, I would like to upload AI files with matching jpgs I am getting an error that states the related jpg file can not be found (however it is in the zip folder and named exactly as the AI file)

so question is am I uploading incorrectly?

i create a zip folder for each AI and JPG pair then upload it via ftp

should I be creating one Zip folder for my 'batch' of AI files and leave the jpgs out of the zip folder but ftp the group of files at once?

should I upload the jpgs first? and then uplaod each AI file in a separate zip folder?

cheers.

RE: FTP AI jpg in Zip
ok well I figured it out with Trial and error - I misunderstood the FAQ instructions only the AI files are to be zipped in the folder and the jpgs are to be uplaod with the folder but outside of it and it seems only one AI file can be placed in a folder at once.

Cheers
