Attention: New Forum in Progress

Unfortunately, our current forum software is causing us some problems, so we have decided to turn off the posting capabilities - for now. We decided to develop our very own forum to get it just right - and it will be up and running again towards the end of May.

We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Until the new forum is available, you can still browse and read the old forums, but unfortunately not post new messages.

Thank you so much for your patience!

Does anyone have any good suggestions on lighting for stock photography that will not break a budget?

Thanks

RE: Lighting
I bought a set of Elinchrom D-Lite4's a few weeks ago. Fairly inexpensive - about $1600. Price could differ depending where you're from, but I think it's a good deal for what you get.
The set comes with two strobes, two stands, two umbrellas (or two soft boxes - whatever you prefer), cords, cables, and they've worked great for me - I use them when I do stuff away from my studio because they are very portable and light, and come in a great canvas carry bag. www.elinchrom.com

RE: Lighting
If you wouldn't mind going a little 'homemade' on your lighting, how about trying off camera flash lighting?
