Attention: New Forum in Progress
Unfortunately, our current forum software is causing us some problems, so we have decided to turn off the posting capabilities - for now. We decided to develop our very own forum to get it just right - and it will be up and running again towards the end of August.
We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Until the new forum is available, you can still browse and read the old forums, but unfortunately not post new messages.
Thank you so much for your patience!

I am trying to upload digital photos which are taken with a Nikon D50 which uses 6 megapixel but the resolutions are 1496*2256.
Why is this not acceptable ?
RE: Image size
1496*2256 = 3.4 megapixels
Even though the camera is capable of shooting 6 megapixels, the resolution of the pictures you take will depend on which settings you use with your camera. Digital cameras usually allow you to choose which file resolution and quality you want, if this is set to 1496*2256, that's the pictures you will get. To be able to submit to Crestock, the resolution must be set higher, to at least 4 megapixels, but preferably higher.
Also, if you have cropped the image in Photoshop or similar programs, the resolution will naturally be reduced by removing parts of the image.
