Attention: New Forum in Progress

Unfortunately, our current forum software is causing us some problems, so we have decided to turn off the posting capabilities - for now. We decided to develop our very own forum to get it just right - and it will be up and running again towards the end of May.

We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Until the new forum is available, you can still browse and read the old forums, but unfortunately not post new messages.

Thank you so much for your patience!

Crestock- All aboard for the future
Posted in Newbies on 24. June 2006 by james_wanderer

Hello everyone and thanks for viewing my post.

I joined crestock a few days ago, and, I must say the site itself is of an impressive design, with some handy features like being able to blog and upload your kit profiles.

I understand that Crestock is in its infancy; however by looking at it my feel is this is going to be a big hit in the future....I hope we all get remembered for a loyalty bonus in the future!

So the big questions are;

What is everyones first impressions of crestock?

What made them choose crestock?

What does anyone else think the future holds?

I dont work in marketing or anything I'm just curious.....

Hi,

I'm also new to this site. just started to upload some for review.

I don't know much about this site. I was browsing for places to display my work. I don't know if my style of photography is to their taste.

Being new will take awhile to get sales up for everyone. I thought I would give it a try. Take care hope things work out for u.

RE: Crestock- All aboard for the future
Hi, I have been here for a few months and my portfolio is very small. They are a bit picky on approvals and accept less "similar" submissions than other sites. I understand all this as trying to build a very selected portfolio, that is, not having hundreds of thousands of images but a smaller yet high quality selection. It sounds a good idea, as any new site needs to have a differential among the other well-established stock sites. If this is going to work, time will tell. It seems they're working more on marketing now, some people have reported sales (not me, unfortunately!), so let's see how it develops.

Regards,
Adelaide
