When it comes to editing (removals, additions) information or images, we understand that many would like to correct and expand on keywords etc. We hope you understand however, that we do have to restrict the access photographers have to the database information after the images have been submitted. We carefully consider the keywords and description submitted with each images and occasionally add keywords to improve an image´s selling potential, or remove keywords that we find inappropriate so that customers only find the type of images they are looking for. As you can imagine, some photographers might be tempted to add some of the most popular search words to their images regardless of how appropriate they are. This could cause substantial damage to the functionality of the Crestock collection, and consequently fewer customers, less sales for all photograhers and so on. You are therefore most welcome to send us an email pointing out what you feel needs to be changed, and we will do it for you.A customized report that includes most sold etc., will appear in due course, but we will have to leave that for now, until we have launched later in spring.Unfortunately we had to remove the "most viewed" feature, because the most viewed images where those with an "adult" content, and we found that this was giving the wrong impression of what Crestock is about, and could put off many potential customers that are visiting our site for the first time at this crucial stage in our development. The "most sold" feature will return as soon as we have officially launched, at which point the images that feature here will be much more representative of the activity of the site. In your members stats we have in place a feature where one can see what submissions that are approved or rejected, as well as which images have been sold how many times etc. The ftp is in place, it works for most of you but not for all. We are eager to hear from any of you that have problems with ftp so that we can improve the functionality of our server where possible. Some mac users have informed us that they have problems uploading via FTP, this is in most cases due to limitations in the Mac operating system, which does not allow for files to be uploaded through the "finder", even if the server is ready for uploads.

I understand everyhting you said from the business point of view. About deletions, I think that should be by agreement.Let's say I want to remove a photo fom your stock for any reason. The photographer can contact you and let you know, then you would remove it when there is nothing in the pipeline pending for that specific photo and let them know . I know, this is a lengthy process but being the owners of anything should entitle the owner to decide where and when to place/remove it. It is a feature that should be available in the future. Yes, the keywords is a delicate thing and I had noticed the "nude" thing also and I, as a photographer, did not like that the most viewed were on that category. I was thinking more about typos and how to fix them, because I make many typing errors. I guess you will take care of that with your revisions. Thansk for yoru lenghty explanation.
