| | Not that I'm planning to yet, I'd like to have the opportunity to deactivate or delete images in my portfolio for whatever reason I might have.Does Crestock have this funtionality in the web interface or do I need to get hold of support to do this? Best regards, Eivind. |
| | So how about it? Surely it must be possible to deactivate images? :) |
| | Oh yeah....we're here now.Though I hope you never have any reason to deactivate pictures, its possible to just contact helpdesk to have them deactivated, which we will do as quickly as possible for you. Is there any special reason we should consider having this functionality? |
| | Thanks! Well for me personally it means a lot just to have the opportunity to go exclusive for anyone I choose somewhere down the line. To do that I need to know that Crestock don't have any disclaimer saying that deactivating images is not allowed.Another reason why you might want to add it to the web interface is the photographer's wish to change a direction in his/her portfolio. Or even to increase the overall quality of it. I want to improve my skills as time goes by, and then I think some of my earlier images isn't representative for me anymore. It would be nice if the could become inactive, but still uploaded and review for whenever I felt like making it available again. Maybe I'm the only one with this desire... but it's good enough for me to know that I can contact support at any time to have images or even my profile deactivated. Just a fear of commitment I guess, but I like the freedom of developing my business as I see fit. I'm not going to leave Crestock now - and probably I never will. ;) |
| | Sounds great! Crestock has no disclaimer saying that photographers must keep there pictures up for any amount of time. All photographers are free to remove their pictures as they wish, though we would much prefer you all stayed ;)
It is the aim of the inspection team to keep your profile of a high quality at the same time as helping you improve your photo skills.
Happy uploading and best of luck. |
| | Hello again. I really miss functionality to edit images with regards to description, title and keywords. Is there any particular reason why this is not possible for contributors? Is this something you would consider implementing at a later stage?Eivind. |
| | Ditto! I really miss that functionality as well. |
| | Anyone from Crestock with a comment on this? I would really like to add and modify the keywords for my images after it has been accepted.
Congrtulations on your new design by the way. It looks great. :-) |
| | I agree. We will be looking at ways of making this possible.. |
| | Thank you! I'm looking forward to that! |
| | Nothing yet?
I just noticed I have uploaded same image twice, and cant delete one of them¤%&¤%¤ |
| | We will take care of this, Magnum. Thanks for letting us know. |
| | Hello, I am new at crestock.com.
You have a great stock photo bank. However, I must say I don't feel comfortable with the fact that I can't control my images once they have been accepted. Photographers should be able to edit images (description, title and keywords) and delete/deactivate them (requesting such changes via e-mail is really annoying). Best regards, Rodolfo |
ChipC San Marcos, United States | It's pretty odd that as a contributor I don't have the ability to disable or delete my own images myself. This would most definitely become a serious issue if an offer of exclusivity came along from another stock company. |
| | hi, i tried to contact helpdesk but i get no answer. I only have 6 images and cant ged rid of them. Please advice. Ola Dusegård "olaser" Though I hope you never have any reason to deactivate pictures, its possible to just contact helpdesk to have them deactivated, which we will do as quickly as possible for you.
