I’m new a micro stock and already accepted and with some sales with the Major micro stock players… but at Crestock I cannot get a single picture accepted. What bothers me the most is that it takes more time to upload a single image, than the time to get an email notification of picture reviewed.

I guess an automated system looks at keywords, or some ‘default patterns’ to filter the picture before a real reviewer takes a look at it (if any). What is funny is that you just need to do any search to realize that the site is full of low quality images.

My question to the community is: Does Crestock really worth the effort? Are the sales in this site really that good?

Thank you,

No, Like everyone else I have more images rejected than those that are accepted, even though on other sites they sell very well.

I have managed to sell some of my images 82 times for a paltry $29 !

So my answer is, No, it is not worth the time and effort.

I am new here and evaluating the site. They fairly have some good pictures from member but looking at the forum, there seem to be many issues like rejections (which some are quite right) and also with payment issues which takes months. Now, I need to find reason to submit pictures to the site as well.

Of all the stock agencies out there this one is the worst.  They reject images for poor reasons, they reject best sellers at other sites and the ones they do pick are what I consider my average images.  Not only that but the sales here are HORRIBLE.  I no longer refer customers or photographers here.  I tell them they can find better quality and selection at many other sites.  I've cut back what I upload here and most likely will stop all togeter, it's just a waste of time and bandwidth.

I am new too at microstock, just trying my luck. I am involved in 6 sites including this. So farI  started with bunch of 40 photos. 25 uploaded here, and rejected at a glance, even before I finished with other sites. I thought they are fast, must be a good site. Then I saw those two three words rejection reasons.

Crestock must be too good site for me. I will never be a top seller, I'll rather try all those other bad microstock agencies, they like some of my images because they are not THAT bad and customers may like them fot the money they spend. And If I am rejected they also give more descent explanation, guidelines, posibility of resubmit after correcting image if possible.

Does Crestock really worth the effort? Not for me, I spent too much time for 25 image and if only one is not good enough to be accepted that probably I am not worth for Crestock too. I checked the gallery and find images just like mine, but who cares. This at a glance rejection actually discourages me, maybe I am a bad looser. Good luck to everyone, I'll try to build my photo-selfesteem somewhere else.

Thank you for posting results! Those numbers says it all! I am a stubborn bastardo, so I will keep Crestock in the back of my head. It's always annoying to be rejected, especially when one has used a lot of time and effort to make them. '

Some of the most popular images I have on other sites are images I have used less effort on, kind of a wake-up call for not trying too hard. Never know what the clients wants. (Of course Crestock should accept more images to enlarge the potential of sales Wink)

Take care,

Arve

no have 87 accepted more than twice the amount rejected, that were multiple sellers on other sites. Just not worth submitting images to this site only to be insulted. Am saying good bye whoi ever stays here good luck.
