ChipC San Marcos, United States | I'm new here and probably on my way out, but in the short amount of time I've been involved with Crestock my biggest complaint is probably that evaluations are not consistent. Now, with that said, I understand that anytime images are under the scrutiny of humans there will be different perspectives. But technical aspects of images should be evaluated ocnsistently. I mean, there are either artifacts or there aren't. It's either over filtered or it isn't, etc. I'm not a perfect photographer by any means, nor am I a veteran stock photog, but I have a proven track record and many years of experience, so when my acceptance rate drops drastically in comparison to other stock sites, like iStock, which has pretty high standards - that's a red flag. What's interesting is you guys accepted the images iStock rejected, and they accepted the images you rejected. So it's not worth it to me to be spending the amount of time we spend on these uploading images, entering keywords and descriptions, to get maybe 1 out of 10 images accepted. Thank you for the spotlight, I am now off my soapbox. Chip |
