| | My new Canon EOS 350D does not work with my Photoshop. My problem is that I can not open files directly from the camera. Anyone who can help me out here?:hehe: |
| | Hi, Are these jpgs or raw files? When you say open from the camera do you mean after you have downloaded the photos to your computer? Marianne :) |
| | jpg. files works after I have downloaded them to my computer. But on another camera I have, i can download directly from the camera to PS. My RAW files don`t open at all. I have downloaded Raw file converter from adobe. |
| | Hi all :)I had similar problems with my 20D, and used several software to deal with it. No I simply use a card-reader, the fastest way of transferring images anyway. They come really cheap, and I bet you can find one for less than 30$, even 20$, in your local computer store. I use a HAMA that reads some 20 different cards, the cheapest I could find. you will not regret buying this small and cheap gadget :) (in no way reccomending just the hama, it is only as an example, as I own one my self) You can find even cheeper simgle card readers. http://www.hama.de/portal/articleId*116355/picType*abb/action*2599?picURL=%2Fbilder%2F00055%2Fabb%2F00055116abb.jpg#picture |
| | Try RawShooterEssentials. It's a fully functional free download, and will probably change the way you work quite dramatically.Pixmantec make it. As for the Adobe RAW update, there is a new one just out v3.2 if I remember correctly. Woud this be what you have? |
| | Hi!
I would also recommend buying a card-reader. It's much faster and easier than using the camera. Are you using a PC or Mac? If you have an Apple computer the easiest is to import your photos with iPhoto 6 or Aperture, and then open the photos in Photoshop. |
| | To open RAW files from the EOS 350D in Adobe Photoshop you require version 3.1 or newer of the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in. The Camera Raw 3.1 plug-in is not compatible with versions of Photoshop earlier than Photoshop CS2 or versions of Photoshop Elements earlier than Photoshop Elements 3.0.
Alternatively the RAW files can be converted to DNG using the Adobe DNG converter. The resulting DNG files can be used in Photoshop CS or CS2 (but not earlier versions of Photoshop.) |
| | Yer camera should come with soft ware, open them a digital negative then open them in photoshop, it will then recognize the RAW file.Hope this was some help |
| | I cannot view DNG in photoshop cs 8.0 |
