It seems this site is more interested in arty sort of stock, and less of standard issue stuff. Just a little impression, and I'm not so 100% in believing it, just yet. So, leads me to wonder, would hdr not only be accepted, but sell?

We assume you mean High Dynamic Range images?
If the subject matter and compositon was interesting, combined with high technical quality, there is no reason why we wouldn't accept HDR images.

Don't forget that the HDR effect itself looks horrible without Tone Mapping! ;)
