Why do I take pictures:
I take pictures for one simple reason. Every experience I have something grabs my attention with a certian visual poetry that brodens my understanding of the world and my place in it. As a result memories are created. So I take pictures to preserve my memories for a life time of charishing.
When I don't photograph, I...:
Sometimes my lack of time combined with my over abundance of interests gets me in trouble. I work for a consulting company, I own a video production buisiess, I coach sotball for a non-profit organization called Blue Sox Softball and I regularly participate in a volunteer Bible education work.
My favourite photographer, and why:
Arnold Newman: I love the way that he uses color and how there seems to be a story being told in every photo he takes. There is a lot of detail and the lines flow so smoothly that you find yourself lost in the emotion of his pictures.
The meaning of life, in my opinion:
"life" is something that one has. I believe the real question is what is it to live? To have life and to live life are different things. Living is taking advantage of every oppurtunity, learn from every failure, persue every goal. To live is to have hope, beacuse without hope we merely exsit.
