Why do I take pictures:
Its a job, its a lifestyle, its a joy, to capture that moment frozen in time something I feel the moving video will never achieve. To create that special image that perhaps will have a lasting effect on the viewer in its own little way.
When I don't photograph, I...:
I am always thinking what i can do next, what can challange me. Photography and art is something I life and breath and I am seldom without my sketch book scribbling down ideas and thumbnails.
My favourite photographer, and why:
The late great Bob Carlos Clarke. A man who made photography his own, yes he was inspired by many that went before but he was an individualist who went against the establishment and kept going through good and bad years and never bastardized himself for the sake of fashion. Greatly missed.
The meaning of life, in my opinion:
To life each day as your last, carve your own way through this confusing world and along the way bring some love and a smile to someone face.
