Judge Ross, Todays Best Image
Todays Best Image

The sensual colors and lines making up the composition in this photo gives this piece a very thorough look and feel; matched from top till bottom. The colors are all very well put together and similar without feeling too monochromatic, and the way the light has been used to white out parts of the image and light the girl up to accentuate her beauty is quite impressive.

How about blown out / over exposed? Apart from that, an image with a high feel
Something to think about..

I've just recently tested out Crestock to see how images are evaluated and whether it may been worth my while uploading my collection for sale. What I did was upload a selection of images that have all been accepted at other major microstock sites. I also just happened, and not by accident, to include my top 10 selling images in this selection with other images that have sold only a few times or not at all so far. Result? An acceptance rate of less than 20% and best of all, NOT ONE of my top 10 sellers was approved!

After following the 'images of the day' for a while (with today's image being no exception) and comparing them to my rejections. I just knew something was up with the Judge's analytical/evaluative mindset and approach. While image quality is obviously important, there also has to be a balance with an ability to identify images that are popular and will sell. Seems this latter skill is lacking at Crestock. So, basically, I'm done with this site, although I may come back sometimes to view the 'image of the day' for a chuckle, while I check out how well my 'Crestock rejects' are selling at the other sites.

All the best Judge, your doing a splendid job. Keep it up!

I'm pretty much agree with Yeh. I also kind of test Crestock by submitting some of my best image to them. End up none of them were accepted. I thought my images really didn't meet their expectation. However until today I found this 'today best's image', I kow I'm done with this site too... I don't understand how can this image being selected as the best of today?? Good luck to Crestock...

What lines? You mean this branch growing from her forehead in the direction of burn out background?
Also sick of Crestock

It seems that most people have had this experience with Crestock. To me, it seems only the 'big guns' of stock are uploading here because they have their automation already set up.

Interesting to see what happens with Crestock....
Crestock, bye!

I checked other images of the same model on the same tree and if this washed out image (even emotive) is not just the best of the series but the best of the day then I am to clumsy photographer to even try to upload to Crestock ultra-mega-pro quality site. Cheers to professionals having studios with more squares then my house and having more furniture then in descent furniture shop. Their photos are grea tso let Crestock stick to them. To be honest, I really am obviously to stupid to understand the criteria here and from this kind of rejection reasons I will never learn. One can't learn anything here so Crestock is not in mission to improve their contributors. I'm out (if I find a way how) and I wish good luck to all you that have more luck and quality then me. I am not brilliant photographer but this site is kind of depressive for me as a community. I don't feel good here, and I am not feel needed. See ya somewhere else..
