are people ACTUALLY blind? It's poorly pieced together, and I think anyone with a real eye for ACTUAL art could see that.

O.K. here ya go: 1) Her arms are out of proportion, unless she has reaaallly long arms. 2) You needed to mask out more of her top-right shoulder. 3) Her butt is too blurry compared to how sharp her arms and face are. 4) Boy does she have some hairy armpits. 5) Why is the front sail on the boat translucent? 6) What did you just say?

I'm actually reading The Odyssey right now, and nowhere is there any mention of mermaids or galleons. Sirens were sometimes portrayed as mermaids, but not by the Greeks. In Greek mythology, Sirens are part bird, part woman. AS for the galleons, not in use for a few centuries.

although i often support criticisms because they help build skill, i think some of these crits are a tad bit harsh, art is something that the artist perceives in his or her own mind. whether or not this is historically accurate or correctly proportioned, it doesn't really matter, if you wanna complain about proportion then why aren't you belittling the works of Pablo Picasso. art is from the artist, and however the artist feels to create it. so let off a bit now. and not to get wayy off the topic, i think this piece is well thought out, i thought it was a genius idea to use the elements of the house to construct a boat, improvision and creativity is great. i really like this, and the idea behind it.

skateraid do you know what your talking about, before you say more, click the links provided by darioberardi in the first few comments, this is legit work. People work hard for things, there are those who cheat, but they lose in the end anyways, but darioberardi here has done their hard work.

Take all the comments (and bad ones) as a compliment. It seems like some people are afraid you might win and want to discredit you. It's obviously this was a lot of work and looks great, good job!

Image looks very blurry. I guess you gaussianed blurred a lot.

This pirate ship seems too small. It's really close to the shore, because there's no depth or distance portrayed. I can't give suggestions on HOW to do that, just that the image looks flat. Sorry, but i don't have the kind of skills needed to advise you on how, only tell you what tweaks my eyeball out.

eheh yes you are right, but this would be a painting looking, so the proportions doens matters, cause if you look a lot of this kind of paitnings, there are no proportions beteen stuff... i am not a realsitic artist, anyway your are right^^ thx
