Are you the next blogger at Crestock?

We are searching for the next great blogging talent. Could it be you? The requirements are quite simple:

• You love to write and engage with your peers
• You have a passion for what you do, be it design or photography
• You can deliver on a somewhat regular schedule (once or twice a month perhaps?)

So, what to write about? We've got a fair idea of what kind of people are reading this blog, and what they like. While this may not the best place for high-level CSS tutorials or in-depth critiques of Immanuel Kant's Prolegomena, we believe, and have reason to believe, that our readers, despite being varied people of all sorts of skills and professions, are curious, and are fascinated by more stuff than their job descriptions would indicate. Since great writing comes from passion, there's quite a bit of latitude as to what you could write about.

Crestock being a stock image agency, it's natural that our blog should be concerned with content that's related in some way to illustrations, graphic design, art, photography and so on. Within that framework, it's more or less up to you.

Normal workflow is that you pitch your ideas to us, and you'll work directly with our blogging and marketing team. We'll then help you to tweak and refine your posts to get a sound and solid concept and angling and make sure to promote the post to give you get the exposure you deserve:

With the blog recieving aproximately 165 000 unique visitors per month, what you write will be read, and the better it is, the more it'll spread; some of our most popular posts pull 30 000 pageviews per month and up! Whether you've got some particular skill you'd like to show off, such as excellent photoshopping skills, or you're an excellent writer with in-depth knowledge and understanding, interested people will notice your posts.

Writing samples or links to previous publications is a huge plus, but no definite requirement for initial introduction (though at some point you will be asked for it)
